Code Red: A Film Screening and Panel Discussion

On April 16th, 2025, the Center for Health, Communication, and the Public Good & The Institute for the Arts, Humanities and Social Justice hosted, Code Red: A Film Screening and Panel Discussion About Period Taboos.
The short film was followed by a panel discussion by:
Jessica McGaugh, Director of the film, and Professor in the School of Theatre, Television and Film.
Katrina Pariera, Director of the Center for Health, Communication, and the Public Good, and Professor in the School of Communication.
Christine Garde-Denning, Founder and CEO of Could You? A non-profit aimed at ending period poverty.
Jasmine Garcia, Graduate Student in the School of Public Health.
Kishauna Soljour, Ph.D. Soljour, Associate Director, Institute for the Arts, Humanities and Social Justice, Assistant Professor in the Department of Classics and Humanities.
